Believe this is SIMON Medcalfe, sometimes written Metcalfe. Believe he also
did a series of Lake Champlain/Champlain Valley maps earlier than Burgoyne;
Check the British Library, King's Topographic Collection. Have some notes
on this in the midden that my office has become lately- will try to dig
them out.
