The records of the Holland Land Company from the Amsterdam (Netherlands)
Municipal Archives have been microfilmed and the microfilm is available at
the State University College of New York at Fredonia. I don't know whether
they loan microfilm reels or not, but they have good finding aids to the
records. These are the main company records. There were also records (in
some cases copies of materials also in Amsterdam archives) kept by various
agents of the company which ended up in American repositories. The Buffalo
and Erie County Historical Society has a significant collection of
material, and much or all of this was published years ago in the
PUBLICTIONS OF THE BUFFALO HISTORICAL SOCIETY. Other records exist in New
York, either from local agents, from copies made from Amsterdam, or from
files turned over from the local offices of the Holland Land Company to
its successors.
