We celebrated a bicenetennial here locally and we formed a historical committe
with parents and children and we focused on interviewing different generations.
history is as close as yesterday, after all. There were single room school houses
that folks had forgotten about.  there were pictures to share, etc.

then the hisotry and pictures were compiled into an album and a book to sell.

quilts were something else they'd done.

a museum was being created when I left.  you'd be amazed what folks come up with.
