I am researching a massacre near Schoharie led by Adam Chrysler, a Loyalist
who was born in Schoharie County but who fled with his family to Canada at
the start of the Revolution. He reports that in 1781 he led a party of
Aughguagas on a raid to the Schoharie Valley.

I presume he misspelled the name of the tribe. Can anyone identify them for
me?
