AWARDS OF MERIT NOMINATIONS SOUGHT

The Upstate History Alliance (UHA) is currently soliciting nominations for
its annual Awards of Merit program. Each year UHA gives Awards of Merit to
recognize outstanding work in the regional history and museum community,
reward staff & volunteers, and provide incentives for developing new and
innovative projects.

Please consider nominating an outstanding project for our 2004 Awards. Any
organization or affiliated individual in UHA's 36-county region of New York
is eligible to be nominated. Projects need to have been completed in 2003.
Full details on eligibility, awards categories, judging criteria, nomination
procedures, and forms are available on our website at
www.upstatehistory.org/services/awards/awards.html

The deadline for nominations is DECEMBER 5, 2003. Award winners will be
announced in the spring and presented at a reception held in conjunction
with our Annual Conference in April.
