The following conference announcement is posted at the request of a NYHIST-L subscriber.

Moderator, NYHIST-L

You are invited to join Fort Ticonderoga's Eighth Annual War College of the
Seven Years' War on May 17-18, 2003. Over 175 participants - people with a deep interest in 18th-century military history - join us each year for this
two-day seminar. The War College focuses on the military history of North
America in the Seven Years' War (1754-1763). The War College provides
participants with an opportunity to listen to and interact with the
presenters in a relaxed atmosphere. Participation in the War College is
limited and is by pre-registration only.

The conference program and details for registration may be found at
http://www.nyhistory.com/conferences/warcollege2003.htm

For more information about the War College, contact Karl Crannell at (518)
