Hello all,

I'm trying to figure out what "The City Register Number" is.  I was given
one for my grandfather and have no idea what it is.  I am searching for
information regarding my grandfather who was under the care of the NY State
Board of Charities ( I was also given a number for this agency).

If anyone knows what that number is for and where I can get the information
regarding the NY City Register could you please post it.  Thank you so much.
