BORN TO TROT is a charming tale set in the 1940's by Marguerite Henry and
illustrated by Wesley Denis (Rand McNally, Chicago, 1956), outlining the
story of the famous Harness Racing legend Hambletonian. Rysdik's
Hambletonian foaled in 1849 on the Seely Farm in the hamlet of Sugar Loaf
in Town of Chester, NY in Orange County.
