Does anyone know the origin of a carving on a boulder, about 6 by 8 feet in size, the carving being of a horse-drawn stagecoach rendered at some unknown time in the past? It is located across from the trailhead to Cascade Mountain along the edge of Rte 73 in the Town of North Elba, near Lake Placid.

Persons with information may email me directly.
