Any one who grew up on a farm in New York State should read the book titled
"Farmboy." Information about it is listed below. Even though I lived on a
farm only up to college age, the book brought back so many memories of the
30's and 40's. Those who had parents or grandparents who were farmers will
be able to relive there lives and times through this book. I heartily
recommend it.
It was written by an Ithaca man, John B. Babcock, whose father and
grandfather were farmers and involved with the development of GLF, now called
Agway, and the Cornell University Agriculture department.
