While some material may have been tossed, the bulk of what you want will be
in the National Archives II in College Park, MD. Go to http://www.nara.gov
and do some browsing.

You may have to travel to College Park to examine what you want -- very
little, if any, POW material would be available on microfilm.

Good Hunting!

Hello. Forgive me if I have already posted this. I am seeking sources for
the WWII POW camps located all through upstate NY. I was told by one
gentleman that all records were destroyed by the government. Does anyone
have an idea where I can write to find out?

Sincerely,
Kelly Taft Krause
