Just want folks to know that I have recently started a new website
http://www.poorhousestory.com which is intended to be a clearinghouse for
information about all 19th century American Poorhouses (poor farms,
almshouses, etc.) Since I started my research in NY ... there are many, many
items for my favorite state!

The site is my first attempt at web publishing and I am still rather
unskilled at making the site look good -- but rather tenacious about
gathering and spreading information about poorhouses.

I will appreciate any feedback -- especially suggestions and HELP.

Thanks,
Linda
