Good Day!

There is something which may be very similar to the "Association."

A friend has heard a reference to "the Medea (or "Media") compact" which was
a similar boycott of Great Britain during the same period or earlier. I
believe that it also was in or near Dutchess County, NY. The "Medea" (or
"Media") referred to a community which has since disappeared, I have heard.

Does anyone have any knowledge of such a compact (used in the manner of
"Mayflower Compact")?

Thank you in advance for any light which you may be able to shed!
