I am looking for a description of NYC and its architecture in the 1670s. Can
someone point me to a book that would have it? (I know there is a book
written in 1909 by Mariana Griswold Renesselaer but the library cannot get
it.)

Or, does anyone know the answers?

Was it triangular-shaped at the foot of the island?

Were the homes one- or, two-story? Of wood? Of brick? Both? Two rooms? Four
rooms?

Thanks.
