Papers or presentations on New York state history (including foodways,
ethnic communities, sports and religion) are needed to round out panels
at the 22nd annual conference of the Northeast Popular Culture/American
Culture Association (NEPCA) meeting at the University of Southern Maine
in Portland on October 29-30, 1999. Proposals are due July 15. Inquiries
