Whom should I contact regarding the re-placement of a
Civil War Veteran's gravestone in Saratoga County? In
the 1960s, I photographed his stone which at that time
had the shield around the edge and a metal "star"
flag-holder next to it. Today, it is face-down and has
been for at least 2 years. I believe someone said that
a Veterans' organization rescued such stones, or even
put in a marker if the stone is effaced. Thank you.
