I wonder if anyone can tell me if there was a connection between Benjamin
Odell, NY State Governor (1901-4) and the Dutchess County Recorder in 1895
who was named Odell in newspaper reports I have read? I have not been able
to find a forename for the Recorder, nor any clarification in Benjamin
Odell's biographical information, but the location and dates suggest a
family connection at least. Any information or suggestions on where I might
look would be much appreciated.
