The book is spectacular, available virtually everywhere and according to
publishing scuttlebut, going into its third printing.  Ted Burrows is a list
member and congrats to him and to Mike Wallace.  All that said, Emily Leonard's
point is well taken.  It's interesting to see how much more info is forthcoming
about upstate NY than about the city.  And I add with a big grin that that battle
has been going on at least since the English took over the province - and there
was doubtless some similar diversion of views among Fort Orange and New Amsterdam.
