Is anyone on the list familiar with a source for export data from New York
State for the period from the mid 1790s through to about 1825?

I am looking for data on various agricultural goods--beef, butter, wheat,
etc.

I have checked the volume on Commerce in AMERICAN STATE PAPERS
(1832). That lists U.S. exports (and imports) for the entire period. It
details the various items that were exported (eg, amounts of potash,
etc). And for a few years in the early 1790s that information is broken
down by state. But by 1795 or so the information is no longer identified
by state of origin.

Any suggestions? are there perhaps exports records just for the port of
New York? (I understand that all the sources of data from the period are
questionable.)

Thanks
And thanks to all those who helped me with my recent query regarding 19th
century new york state township maps.
