Battle of Bennington 225 Anniversary
Lecture and tour to commemorate the 225th Anniversary of the event

Lecture location: Cultural Education Center, Madison Ave. (US 20), downtown Albany, Museum Theater - 1st Floor
Date/time: Friday, August 16, 2002, starting 7:00 p.m.
Cost: Free

Philip Lord Jr., Director of Museum Services and author of "War Over Wallomscoick", will present a slide lecture on the 1777 Battle of Bennington. The author will set the stage for a field tour on Saturday, August 17th and provide context on the battle and agricultural patterns of the site as they existed 225 years ago. (The tour will start at 10 a.m.)
