Guys: I rec'd the MIS-information from the NY History List, a monitored
(for relevance!) round table for historians, scholars and researchers. It
is a very serious, academic group, not given to conspiracy theories.

I can only assume it was the FCC ruling announced in today's Times, defining
internet access as interstate commerce that gave rise to the alarm.

Mea culpa for disturbing you.

And many thanks to Dan.
