I picked up a flyer recently seeking articles for a journal published in
Buffalo - _Afro-Americans in New York Life and History_. They publish twice
a year (January and July), but I don't know if they have put out anything
as of now or not. You could write and ask if they could provide a list of
past articles (if there are any).

This may or may not help. There are currently a lot of local research
projects being done; hopefully anyone participating, with any input, will
notify the list.

The address for the journal is

P. O. Box 63
Buffalo, NY
14207.

Hope this helps,

David Minor

>I grew up in the tiny southwest NY town of Almond, NY. There was a house in

>there is a place that shows the houses used in that area. It's in Allegany

>find at a library that talks about this?
