Dear Gerard,
A search of OCLC's Firstsearch 'Worldcat' (a subscription database
available in most college and many public libraries shows fifteen hits on
the subject representing about ten books and one recorded song about the
Loomis gang. Several of these books were written or reprinted this decade
and so should be available via ILL. Firstsearch also provides locations
for library holdings so you may find a title near you.

Also, many journal articles have been written about the Gang, including:
"The horse thieves of Rossie," by Virgie B. Simons. North Country Life,
Winter 1956 (vol. 10, no. 1), p. 4-6, 17.

"The Loomis gang," reprinted from the Ziyara Bugle. York State Tradition,
Summer 1964, p. 45-7, 56.

"The Loomis gang," by L. A. Dapson. New York History, July 1938, p.
269-79.

"Roscoe Conkling and the Loomis gang," by J. B. Hoben. New York History,
October 1941, p. 437-49.

And a newspaper article! "Loomis gang ruled 7 counties century ago," by
Dave Wolfanger. Syracuse Herald-American, April 3, 1966.

Take your pick.
