Dear Jill,
The Watertown Times apparently used to have a series of articles on the
theme, "Old houses of the North country." While they are obviously not all
stone houses, certainly many would be. I have a citation for one that
should lead to others. I'm sure Flower Memorial and other North Country
Library System member libraries will have these on microfilm.

"The Stone House at Cape Vincent (Old houses of the North Country, No.
335). Photo and caption by David F. Lane. In "Watertown Daily Times," May
7, 1949.

Hope this helps. I would be interested in any kind of list or directory
you might produce.

Any help you could provide would be greatly appreicated. Also, any leads into other directions where information can be obtained would also be a great help. Sincerely and Thank You in advance...GVH
