Just a reminder, November is NY State History month, and some programs are already listed at http://www.nysm.nysed.gov/historymonth/index.html More listings are welcome. Anything that is New York State History related and happens in November.

Hello,

I know it is the end of August but the editor of Heritage Hunters
newsletter will be hitting us for the information we put into our
Calendar of Events. This will be in our Oct-Nov newsletter so I
am sending this request out now. In the past, our members and
friends have enjoyed knowing about all of the presentations and
events that have gone on around NYS, especially in the Capital
District. We exchange newsletters with several other groups and
I send all of this information out to several hundred people via
email. Many of you go to quite a bit of work in preparing for each
Archives month and this is one way to be sure it will be advertised
to people who have an interest in history-genealogy.

If you have only set a date, please send your organization, date
and some way to communicate with you - phone, email, website
so that I can follow up on what is going on. If you have other events
and presentations throughout the rest of the year which would be
of interest to people interested in genealogy or history, please
let us know about them.

Please send your information to <[log in to unmask]>
ASAP so we will have time to get it advertised. Thank you.

God Bless
Ruth Ann Messick
