The Battenkill enters the Hudson River, not at Troy, but at Greenwich,
NY, about 40 miles north of Troy. You are correct that the Battenkill
comes out of Vermont and meanders across Washington County. I am
unfamiliar with any Quaker Road along the course of the Battenkill.
There is a Quaker Hill Road in White Creek, in Washington County, and
then there is the much more familiar Quaker Road in Queensbury, NY.

Doe anyone have any information on the Quaker Road that ran along the
Battenkill from its mouth
near Troy on the Hudson to Vermont across Washington County NY? Please
email me. Thanks
