There is a significant, but small, body of data out there. Check book "Oneida Lake" by local author Jack Henke for a start. Of course you need to be more specific. Your message header says "Royal Blockhouse", so I can speak to that. The evidence indicates that site was dug away when the Barge Canal was built in the early 20th century. for a while I doubted that, but now I believe it, after a great deal of study.

Whatever your quest, you will need to do some research. I can't advise you unless I have a better handle on what you are trying to find. "Anything out there" is a bit broad?

I am seeking historical and anecdotal information about the Sylvan
Beach, Onedia Lake eastern shore area from Revolutionary Times to the
20th century. Anthing out there?
