AMSTERDAM — Individuals looking for a unique way to begin their
holiday experience are invited to celebrate with Heritage Holidays in
the Mohawk Valley.
The festivities will begin on Saturday and Sunday, Nov. 30 and Dec. 1,
with events at Old Fort Johnson and Fort Klock Historic Restoration,
continue with events at Johnson Hall State Historic Site, the Fort
Plain Museum and the Rice Homestead on Dec. 6, 7 and 8and end at the
Walter Elwood Museum on Dec. 14.
At each site visitors will be able to pick up a Heritage Holidays
passport which will be marked at each site they visit. After an
individual visits three sites, their name will be entered into a
drawing to win a Heritage Holiday Gift basket containing items from
all of the participating sites. The drawing for the basket will take
place on Dec. 14.
