I cannot find this information and hope someone knows it.

I am writing a brief history and would like to state the distance(50
miles) between two cities in:

-- The time it would take to travel by horse & buggy
-- The time it would take to walk

Does anyone know where I could find how far a person can walk in one day
(I'm guessing it might be 20 miles) and how far you can travel in one day
by horse & buggy?

Any clues will be greatly appreciated!

Jill
