First of all hello to the list. And my hat is off to Chris Ward. She will
make a fine State Archivist.

And second, one of the benefits of being retired from the State Education
Department/State Museum for just shy of a year is my blood pressure stays
relatively normal when I read emails about the "State Historian". Notice I
said "relatively". The old firehorse stills paws the ground when the bell
goes off, but I am trying to adjust.
