MILTON >> Town Historian Royann Blodgett doesn’t like to say she is
retiring, just finding another direction in her life.

“I don’t like to call it retirement because the interest is still
there,” Blodgett said. “You don’t turn that off. I may be giving up my
appointment, but I will always have an interest in the history of
Milton.”

Blodgett, who served as town historian for more than a decade,
submitted her resignation at the Dec. 4 town board meeting after
working for more than 20 years in some capacity in town.
