A colleague is writing an article for a journal I edit on Genestra Strong (b. 1885) who served in the NY State Assembly from 1944-1959. The bill she's best known for was to permit yellow margarine to be sold (1952). He is finding it difficult to find very much information about her life and career. If anyone can suggest sources (on or off line to me), we'd appreciate the assistance.
