SARATOGA SPRINGS — Without New York, there wouldn’t have been a Union
cause during the Civil War.

It provided more men, money and materials than any other state.

A permanent new exhibit, two years in the making and featuring some of
the war’s rarest artifacts, is scheduled to open soon and pays tribute
to New York’s role during the War Between the States.
