The County records from Charlotte County 1772 to 1784 (Deeds, Wills,
etc) tend to be elusive; recourse to Albany, Washington, Clinton and
Essex Counties has also failed to
turn up records from this period. Any suggestions as to where these
documents may have been recorded and/or have ended up?
