Hi Kelly,

Not true that the material was "all tossed." While some may have gone to
"good records heaven," complements of the government, a good deal is
available in the National Archives. I have photo copies of the lists of "all"
of the POWs in New York that I recieved from them some years ago. They are
out on loan right now to a woman who is writing a history of the POW camps
here in Wayne County, but would be happy to share them with you when they are
returned.  Les Buell
