I have seen references -- and a lithograph -- of the flower market
conducted at the south end of Union Square in NYC in the 1860's and 70's,
but can't find any solid information about it. One caption suggested it was
held only in the spring.

Does anyone know anything about this bit of enterprise? Or have any
suggestions on where to look it up.

Any advice most welcome.

Emily Leonard
