There is a nice article with photo on this balloon farm on page 85 in the
book Herkimer County 2000.

The photo inscription reads:  "Mary Hawley Myers, known as 'Carlotta the
Balloonist,' as she began an ascent in 1885.  Her husband, Carl (Charles)
Myers, is on the right.

Text begins "the Balloon Farm still stands, a dignified Victorian mansion of
thirty rooms, on a hill south of Frankfort, overlooking the Mohawk Valley."
