I came across the following from the GenWeb page for Herkimer County-

Another lists a Henry Seeber as a private who fought at Oriskany.

Sometimes these genealogy pages can help pinpoint some one. The home page

Didin't find anything else on Henry but sounds like the AR Henry Seeber is
your man. Maybe Steven Seeber (e-mail address above) can shed further
light. Sounds like some veterans' or other DAR-type group may be the prime
suspects for the marker. Good luck.
