     Several weeks ago there was an inquiry from someone on this list
looking for a curriculum guide for NYS history.  As I recall, nobody
managed to answer the question.  I think I have finally figured out
why--the guide doesn't exist!

     History seems to be folded into the social studies curriculum
guide--at least there is a lot of history in it.  The social sciences guide
is available in PDF format at the State Education Department Web site
(http://www.nysed.gov).  If there is anything in addition that is specific
to history, I sure would like to know about it.
