GREENFIELD — A group of local students received unforgettable lessons
they’ll never find in a textbook Thursday.

Eighth-grader Lauren Chille interviewed Marion Buchanan, a Women’s
Army Corps veteran, and Sam Cahan, a ground navigation instructor in
the Army Air Corps.

They’re among the 11 World War II veterans at the Prestwick Chase
senior community who shared stories with students for a Greatest
Generation Project.
