As the Schenectady Digital History Archive enters its sixteenth year,
we are celebrating with expanded coverage of regional newspapers in
our obituary index.

As of yesterday's update, the index has over 72,000 citations from
historical Schenectady newspapers and current Schenectady and regional
papers. It now includes obituaries posted by the Recorder
(Amsterdam), the Courier-Standard-Enterprise (St. Johnsville, Fort
Plain and Canajoharie), the Hamilton County Express and the Sacandaga
Express since late 2010.

The Schenectady Digital History Archive is a project of the
Schenectady County Public Library, the central library of the Mohawk
Valley Library System, serving the counties of Fulton, Montgomery,
Schenectady and Schoharie.
