While the original request asked, if I recall correctly, suggestions
concerning parental involvement, and while I've observed, fortunately in
the minority, efforts to insure that projects are "politically correct",
I don't recall having seen any suggestion that there are parents fully
capable of encouraging their children to undertake appropriate projects
when they become involved.  Many of the suggestions I find noteworthy;
those that meet the agenda of "political correctness", seem to have less
appeal and substance. As a parent I'm sure that my spouse and I would
welcome suggestions, should our children be assigned a topic where our
participation were suggested, and I am convinced that we could help our
children select a project that would be constructive and not destructive.

This above all: to thine own self be true,
And it must follow, as the nite the day,
Thou canst not then be false to any man.
