SCOUNDRELS, SAILORS AND STATESMEN AT THE BATTLES OF SARATOGA

Sean Kelleher, director of the Center for Heritage Education and

officers who helped secure the American victory at Saratoga at a
meeting of the Old Saratoga Historical Association on Thursday,
June 27, at 7:30 p.m. at the Schuylerville Public Library. In addition,
Kelleher will outline a series of over 50 different events that
commemorate the Burgoyne Campaign in the Three Valleys of
Freedom –the Mohawk, Champlain, and Hudson
Valleys. Kelleher, who serves on the Town of Saratoga Surrender
March Organizing Committee, has been leading efforts in the region
to commemorate the 225th Anniversary of the Battles of Saratoga.

He is working with the Saratoga County Board of Supervisors and
Saratoga National Historical Park on remembering the Battles of
Saratoga. He is also leading an initiative of over 20 different
organizations to jointly promote the 225th Anniversary of the
Northern Campaign of 1777. Kelleher has been a Revolutionary
War reenactor for 25 years.

The meeting is open to the public, free of charge. Bring your friends!

For information, call Pat Peck, 584-4129.

Note: This is a change from the originally scheduled program with
