We do have several of the NYC newspapers on microfilm here at UB, but none
of them contained information on the Hudson River sailings (though they
did record arrival and departure of ships from England and from other
ports in the United States).  [I had a similar problem with trying to
figure out ferry schedules in Buffalo pre Civil War-- the papers had tons
of information on the lake shipping, including dates of sailings and
information on cargo, but nothing that I could find that gave the schedule
for the ferry from Buffalo to Canada...]
