John Post's daughter wrote about him, as "Mrs. Petrie",  and this was recorded in Pomeroy Jones, Annals and Recollections of Oneida County, 1851 ,page 498. I do not recall a mention of her first name.

  I'm probably teaching my grandmother to suck eggs here, but where I
come from, Pippa & Pip are common nicknames for Phillipa & Philippa.
