The NYS Department of State no longer provides printed copies of the Local Government Handbook, but you can print your own. The book (all 257 pages) is available in .pdf format at:

http://www.dos.state.ny.us/lgss/list9.html#handbook

The format (.pdf) allows you to print as many or as few pages as you like. It requires the Adobe Acrobat Reader software, but that is available online for free from Adobe.
