I am currently starting research for a planned book on
Oliver Curtis Perry, the train robber. I am particularly
interested in his years in Auburn Prison, Matteawan and
Dannemora. As I am based in Liverpool I am finding it
difficult to find many sources of information, having
exhausted available bibliographical resources and the
treasures of the web. I hope to visit Albany in the
Spring when I am on sabbatical but would really welcome
some suggestions of possible material on Perry. My sense
is that he is a relatively neglected figure.
If I can offer any help to closet historians of Liverpool
I will!
Thanks.
