FORT?JOHNSON - The Holiday Open House will return to Old Fort Johnson
after a two-year break for recovery from Tropical Storm Irene, a news
release said.

The event will take place on Saturday and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.

According to a news release, the event will feature colonial
decorations, self-guided tours of the Old Fort, holiday music,
complimentary refreshments, and a holiday gift shop stocked with local
history books, local honey and more. On both days, there will be a tea
tasting, a tin smithing demonstration, 18th century toys and games to
try, a rug hooking demonstration, and a "What am I?" table of antique
