NYHIST-L moderator's note--the following conference announcement is posted at the request of the Capital District Civil War Round Table:

The Capital District Civil War Round Table (Albany, NY) will hold its Fifth Annual Northeast Civil War Conference and Annual Fall Banquet, 11/8/02-11/9/02.  The conference theme is: "Through Their Eyes: The Letters,
Accounts, and Paintings of New York Civil War Soldiers". The conference is being co-sponsored by the New York State Museum and will be held at the Museum and the Best Western Hotel, Albany, NY. Click here for details:
