I'm wondering if anyone can tell me the month and year that state suyveyor
Simon De Witt moved his office into the new State House on State Street ?
I'm especially interested in knowing if the Erie Canal commissioners met
there at the beginning of their survey in July 1810, when the building was
still under construction.
